ONE DAY OF GIVING LASTS A LIFETIME!
Once a year our great city gets together to support our local non-profits. Here at Bluetails Pet Rescue, these donations are used directly to help neglected animals in New Orleans.
Here are a few of the lifesaving projects we had this past year!
PRESLEY
Confiscated due to severe abuse and neglect.
Bluetails in cooperation with multiple agencies was able to save this sweet bully from certain death! After 4 surgeries at LSU Vet Hospital, Presely is now pain free and living her best life.
1ST ANNUAL PAWS IN PARC FESTIVAL
Our 1st Westank Pet Festival was a huge success, with over 2000 in attendance and multiple dog rescues adopting out pets. These festivals are fundamental in fundraising and raising awareness of the needy pets in our community.

Pet Cooperative of Jefferson Parish
Teamwork makes the dream work!!! This past year we started a collaboration with Jefferson Protection and Welfare Society and the Drew Pet Foundation. We are building relationships and strong foundations with our local agencies to have a larger affect on homeless animals in our community.
Whats in the future for Bluetails?
2022 is going to a BIG year!! We are going BIG or going home. We have more events planned than ever before, including a vaccination clinic for our westbank community, adding a low cost vet partnership, and low cost grooming. We will also be finishing our new building this year and starting transports to the midwest. We cant Wait to see what the year holds for us.

SUCCESS STORIES
GiveNOLA Day is a 24-hour event hosted by the Greater New Orleans Foundation to inspire people to give generously to nonprofits making our region stronger, creating a thriving community for all.
Hosted by the Greater New Orleans Foundation, GiveNOLA Day is the community’s one-day, online giving event to inspire people to give generously to the nonprofit organizations that are making our region stronger, creating a thriving community for all.
This year we are one of the participating charities and we need your help! Make sure to donate May 2nd and choose our Rescue as your benefiting charity.
It’s our day to come together as one! Every dollar donated from midnight to midnight on May 2nd will be increased with additional “lagniappe” dollars provided by the Greater New Orleans Foundation and our generous GiveNOLA Day sponsors.
While all donations are made online, Bluetails will be open to help anyone in need of assistance in making donations to make the process as simple as possible. So mark your calendars! More information will be provided as the time gets closer.

Bluetails will adopt animals to adults (must be 21 or older) who demonstrate they are responsible individuals and can provide adequate assurances that they intend to provide proper care for an animal's entire life. Click Here>>

Bluetails Pet Rescue
Bluetails Pet Rescue is a non profit foster based animal rescue located in the greater New Orleans area and takes in neglected dogs, provides them with medical care and a loving environment while finding them a permanent home.
Our mission is to rescue animals in need, rehabilitate as necessary, prepare for adoption and ultimately place in loving homes.
All donations are used 100% in funding the rescue and adoption effort.
